Questions

Can I sign a PDF without uploading it?

Yes. The document and signature image are processed in the browser and are not sent to PdfAddImage servers.

Can I use a transparent signature PNG?

Yes. Transparent PNG signatures work well, and you can adjust the opacity after placing the image.

Is this a digital certificate signature?

No. This tool adds a visible signature image. It does not create certificate-based cryptographic signatures.
